back to school!
Hello people!
Just want to say that next week I'll be touring schools again, and I'm very exited! Maria and Roy Ole are still joining me, and this time we are going to Åsane and Arna!!!
I'ts been almost 6 months since our last school-tour so we will rehearsal this weekend so we will sound great for you :-)

Last night watched the great documentary "shut up & sing"
A documentary on the Dixie Chicks in the wake of singer Natalie Maines' anti-George W. Bush statement at a 2003 concert.
You should all go get it and watch it! It's just unreal the kind of reaction they got from expressing their feelings towards Bush and his politics back in 2003, and it all happens in the land of freedom....

A week of fun recording new demoes!
A week of fun recording new demoes!
I've got lots of new songs that I'm working on , and finally last week I got to go to Bergen and work with some of them together with Roy Ole and Jan Tore!
Most of the time I sit in my room recording ideas and songs with my very limited Pro Tools skills. Pro Tools is an excellent recording system
, but I hardly ever record more than four tracks on each song: Lead vocals, guitar, vocal-harmonies and than a track where i simulate with my voice or with drumming on my desk the different types of energy I would like others to apply to the song.
I think Roy Ole and Jan Tore understand my demos very well, and the result from last weeks sessions made me very exited!
We mostly start the sessions with recording guitar and vocals
and than we add additional instruments and vibes! Roy Ole is brilliant with the keys and really good at finding small cute melodies and harmonies.

Jeppe in Rosendal!
The last 4 days I've been in Rosendal preparing the play "jeppe på bjerget" together with Frode Rasmussen. The local people turned the old Vangssago:
into an outdoor-theater! In between all the rainy days, Saturday turned out to be a nice sunny day, and we could have our premiere outdoors with great success :-)

In this play I play Nille (jeppes wife), a judge, a barrkeeper, a servant, a military tax-collector, a bimbo and a baron. It's so much fun, and Frode is great company both of-stage and on-stage, he is a very funny guy!

I just want to thank the local promoters and all the peolpe that helped us during our stay, you were all so sweet to us.
Now I'm back in Øystese readdy for a weeks holiday and family!
